Back to the 70's

I did this painting to break away from the habbit of drawing too many fantasy and science fiction themed paintings, and to try and combine a painterly look with cartoony characters.

This painting is a personal piece that I did to try and combine cartoony characters with a more painterly background.

One of the early stages of the painting. The inking was done using Manga Studio, which is lightyears ahead of photoshop when it comes to line-control.
